Content Developer/Digital Media Specialist - FT Job Title: Content Developer/Digital Media Specialist, Assessment ServicesLocation: Remote (North America)Reports to: Instructional Products and Program Manager SummaryThe Content Developer/Digital Media Specialist is a member of the Instructional Products and Programs team within the Assessment Services Department. This position is responsible for training and managing external item writers, editing and writing test items, and developing test specifications/test objectives according to industry best practices. In addition, the Content Developer/Digital Media Specialist will develop and maintain online learning resources and test preparation materials, create videos, deliver webinars, and produce social media posts. To be successful, the Content Developer/Digital Media Specialist must exhibit strong technical writing and editing skills and possess experience with video editing and design software. The Content Developer/Digital Media Specialist is expected to manage external item writers for multiple projects including developing and monitoring assignments; providing training, feedback, and support to item writers; and ensuring all editing is completed on time and to a high level of quality. The Content Developer/Digital Media Specialist will also be called upon to facilitate in-person and virtual content development workshops with external subject matter experts (SMEs) and to communicate regularly with clients. Main Duties Create and maintain videos promoting/explaining test products Develop and maintain training for in-house useDevelop and maintain online study materials for test candidates Deliver webinars for test candidates and other stakeholdersOther duties as assignedTrain external subject matter experts (SMEs) in best practices for exam content developmentManage SMEs during content development effortsEdit and write test items according to industry best practicesProvide timely, constructive feedback to external item writers with varying levels of experienceResearch and draft test specifications/test objectivesManage multiple concurrent content development assignments, each on its own schedule, to ensure on-time deliveryCommunicate directly with clients throughout the content development cycleFacilitate in-person and online content development workshops with subject matter experts (SMEs)Become proficient with Prometric's internal, proprietary assessment technology; follow established procedures and guidelines, and comply with exam security practicesCreate and maintain videos promoting/explaining test products Develop and maintain training for in-house useDevelop and maintain online study materials for test candidates Deliver webinars for test candidates and other stakeholdersOther duties as assigned Essential Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree or higherExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong editing and proofreading skillsExperience with group facilitationAbility to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet exacting deadlinesAbility to meet quality and productivity metricsFacility with learning and using new technology applications including video editing software (Camtasia or Premiere Pro), InDesign, and Photoshop.
