Job Summary

The Citrix Administrator is responsible for maintaining and running 5 Citrix tenants supporting customers globally. These platforms run on AWS, Azure, and VMware. The Citrix Administrator will report to the director of cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge in implementation, managing and troubleshooting Citrix XenApp, ADC, Netscalar and publishing applications in Citrix.
• Responsible for Patch management, policy configuration and user administration
• Install, configure, and maintain virtual servers, server operating systems, storage, and backup solutions.
• Proactively maintains and upgrades system infrastructure, servers and other business technology systems and software.
• Implements technology solutions to enhance systems availability, security and provides enhancements to operations.
• Create documentation and technical procedures necessary to administer the environment.
• Resolves critical system outages. Responsible for responding to and resolving issues within the team during shift hours.
• Monitor ticket queues for open and unassigned incidents to be worked to resolution.
• Hands-on experience in Windows Servers, Active Directory and GPO management
• Conduct incident response and root cause analysis.
• Responsible for the monitoring the daily server and network operations.
• Good understanding in configure, administrate, manage, and support Azure/AWS compute instances, Backup, snapshot, and Storage.
• Good working knowledge of IT networks (LAN, WAN) and Switches.
• Working knowledge in MS SQL database security, performance, and installation.
• Understanding in SQL database backup/restore and recovery procedures.
• Provides on-call support and alert response in a rotation schedule.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems/technology/computer science (or equivalent work experience).
• Citrix certifications are highly preferred.
• 4 - 5 years’ experience with managing Citrix XenApp, NetScaler, storefront, delivery controllers and Citrix licenses. Expertise in Microsoft Windows Servers (2012/2016/2019), MS SQL, AWS and Azure Cloud infrastructure.
• Good knowledge in PowerShell scripting, Active Directory and Group policies
• Advanced level of experience with setting up, configuring, and managing Citrix virtual application in high availability mode.
• Advanced troubleshooting mindset and skills with AWS, Azure, and Citrix
