Activities Assistant Leader: The Memory Care Activities Assistant-Leader will assist in creating/providing appropriate social activities for the home’s Assisted Living/Memory Care residents while maintaining the respect and dignity of each person. The Activities Assistant-Leader assists in creating a monthly activity calendar, implements scheduled recreation activities, assists in coordinating appropriate entertainment, taking direction from the Memory Care Coordinator and Director of Activities. This person also attends/assists in resident special events/holiday celebrations and off-site trips. Also, cleans, disinfects and straightens up each area after an activity is complete and understands resident’s needs for patience, tactile stimulation, sensory stimulation and redirection while remaining calm in all types of situations. Ability to drive the agency bus a plus but not required. Outgoing, self- motivated, compassionate and energetic persons encouraged to apply. Part-time position is needed 11am to 7pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday in our Memory Care program.
