Position Summary:

The patient transporter works in various departments of the hospital by transporting patients to their required destinations. The ideal candidate will have interpersonal skills and compassion to be a successful patient transporter. JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or GED.
• Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to move about hospital and between workstations.
• Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to frequently move, lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
