Proman Staffing is Hiring a Materials Coordinator Near Fallon, MO

PROMAN staffing has partnered with one of our manufacturing clients in O'Fallon, MO to hire an organized, detail - oriented Materials Coordinator.

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!

Materials Coordinator Qualifications

To achieve success, a Materials Coordinator should possess the following minimum requirements, knowledge, skills, and abilities:

· Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; or, one to three years of related experience and/or training; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Comprehension/Communication skills: Reads and interprets documents such as shipping reports, BOL’s, packing lists, and purchase orders. Must have good computer and organizational skills, with high attention to detail. Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and suppliers in both written and verbal communication including phone and email etiquette.

· Mathematical Skills: Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

· Reasoning Ability: Understands written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions. Ability to recognize discrepancies and identify inaccuracies and take appropriate action to correct.

Material Coordinator Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follows all safe work procedures and general plant rules while performing the job.
  • Proficient in E2 Shoptech software.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
  • Record inventory cycle counts.
  • Enter customer orders.
  • Generate documentation necessary for products shipments.
  • Work with Production Manager on scheduling and purchasing.
  • Generate monthly reports on inventory levels and freight costs.
  • Enter daily production into E2 Shoptech software.
  • Supports all areas of the plant with materials needed.
  • Maintain clean and accurate records of all products entering and leaving the plant.
  • Maintain accurate records of all products as it moves through outside processing operations.
  • Ensure IATF 16949 and ISO-9001 compliance.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and vendors.
  • Other duties as required.

Physical Demands

Ability to talk, hear, see, and use hands/fingers to handle or feel.

Ability to sit for long periods of time for up to 10 hours a day.

Ability to occasionally walk, bend, stoop, crawl, or kneel.

Ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. If greater than 40 lbs, will require assistance or the use of lifting equipment.

Work Environment

Production environment in a manufacturing facility with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Noise level is high. While performing the job functions of this position, the employee works near punch presses, machine shop equipment, forklifts, welders and automated assembly fixtures. Use of Personal Protective Equipment is required when in the plant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
