Prolec GE Waukesha is Hiring a Business Support Lead Near Goldsboro, NC

This role will provide direct support to the Service Business Unit management team by providing direct administrative and clerical support to administration/compliance, business reporting, administration, IT support, and general office management. This includes a focus on continuous improvement, continuous flow of information and project data development. This role is responsible for the improvement of transactional processes through innovation and project lead to achieve the desired "easy to do business" with Services.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly support Service Headquarters office administrative activities to include & budget tracking and adherence.
  • Assist in completing travel reservations as needed.
  • Accumulate and sort data to produce reports for analysis in support of our business operations and other employee communications.
  • Provide back-up support for key administrative roles for Service business
  • Responsible for monthly metrics per identified needs for business report outs
  • Responsible to lead state service licensing initiative.
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
  • Coordinate special projects to maintain optimal levels of operation at Service business.
  • Establish the follow up mechanisms and KPIs for the critical process variables such as budget compliance, sales reports, and field technicians' hours by project.
  • Manage information system projects to improve productivity benefits, capacity requirements focus on automate and manage core business processes for optimal performance including information considering at tendering stage in comparison with real at execution.
  • Manage the transactional improvement process based on the detection of areas of opportunity or needs in business performance and reports focus on supporting monthly business mechanisms.
  • Audit Field Service Technicians expense reporting and identify erroneous charges or potential policy violations and report accordingly.
  • Manage and maintain adequate levels of office supplies for business.
  • Support Service business with any administrative needs.
  • Responsible for 5S compliance on Services headquarter office location.

  • Ability to understand and implement improvement processes
  • Ability to understand business transactional process
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present business cases to management
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good problem solving and diagnostic skills.

  • Task and results oriented
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required Education / Experience

  • Associate/s Degree.
  • 2 -3 years' experience in office or project management activities

Preferred Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
