Position Overview

As the high-performing Admissions Director at WisHope Recovery, you will play a pivotal role in our engagement with those affected by addiction and co-occurring disorders. This position involves handling inbound inquiries and initiating outbound communications to assess and respond to the needs of potential clients and their families. Your primary goal is to guide them toward the most appropriate treatment options, facilitate their seamless entry into our programs, and oversee the performance and processes of the Treatment Intake Specialists team.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Prompt Response to Inbound Calls: Provide empathetic and thorough assessments of each caller's situation and treatment needs.
  • Eligibility and Readiness Determination: Guide potential clients to appropriate care paths and effectively determine their eligibility and readiness for treatment.
  • Documentation and Follow-Up: Meticulously document interactions and caller information in our CRM system to ensure continuity of care and proactive follow-up with prospects through calls, texts, emails, etc.
  • Admissions Process Management: Ensure a smooth and efficient flow of all admission-related activities.
  • Team Leadership and Scheduling: Manage the Treatment Intake Specialists’ schedules to optimize coverage and efficiency. Lead regular team-building activities to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Liaison Role: Act as the key link between Treatment Intake Specialists and the Director of Operations, facilitating communication and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Expertise in Substance Abuse Treatment: Substantial knowledge of substance abuse and its treatment.
  • Educational Background: Background in psychology, social work, human services, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled with Microsoft Office and familiar with Google Apps and online communication tools.
  • Call Center Experience: Previous experience in a call center environment; sales experience is an advantage.
  • Decision-Making and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate compassion and empathy over the phone.
  • Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
