Threshold Rehabilitation Services Inc., a leader in supporting individuals with mental illness challenges, has openings for part- time and full-time Certified Peer Specialists.

The Certified Peer Specialist is a self-identified recipient of Mental Health services. The Certified Peer Specialist is trained to offer support and assistance to peers diagnosed with severe mental illness.

The Certified Peer Specialist will perform a wide range of tasks to assist peers in regaining control over their own lives, their recovery process and community integration process.

Threshold offers a comprehensive benefit package for full time employees, which includes a 401(k) plan and paid Holidays off starting day one of employment!!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, original required
  • Completed the Certified Peer Specialist Training
  • 12 months work or volunteer experience within the last 3 years or have 24 credit hours of post-secondary education
  • Computer knowledge is a must
  • Pre-employment Drug Screen
  • PA Criminal History Clearance
  • FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years)
  • FBI Clearance (Department of Human Services)
  • Child Abuse Clearance
