Project HOPE Foundation is Hiring a Lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Spartanburg, SC

Project Hope Foundation, a leading provider of home-, clinic-, and classroom-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, is currently seeking qualified individuals for the position ofLead Board Certified Behavior Analyst. The only nonprofit provider of ABA therapy in Upstate South Carolina, Project Hope Foundation offers a range of programs designed to meet the needs of our more than 200 clients, creating a culture of compassion and commitment to providing high quality services.

Job Description:

As a member of Hope Reach, began as a program under Project Hope Foundation in 2007, aLead Board Certified Behavior Analyst develops and supervises the implementation of individualized treatment plans for a caseload of clients and supervises 1-3 certified clinicians.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide authorized clinical hours to assigned caseload of clients at a minimum of 10% of direct hours and/or to match PHF standards.
  • Conduct skills assessments using standardized tools such as the VB-MAPP, PEAK, ABLLS-R.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for each client.
  • Communicate with funders and internal billing department to obtain and maintain authorizations for medically necessary services.
  • Provide instruction, training, and support to clients, staff, and family members during scheduled consultations.
  • Execute and manage electronic data collection for clients.
  • Analyze data to monitor progress and ensure effective treatment. Develop and implement treatment plan changes as indicated.
  • Conduct functional assessments and develop behavior intervention plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with families in the development of behavior support strategies.
  • Manage caseload; maintaining, preparing, and submitting all required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with families to generalize skill acquisition and behavior reduction gains.
  • Supervise work of Registered Behavior Technicians.
  • Coordination of care with other service providers.
  • Lead and supervise work of assigned BCaBAs and BCBAs, ensuring appropriate treatment according to PHF standards.
  • Model exemplary case supervision including:
  • modeling and managing the provision of authorized clinician hours and direct hours
  • clinical recommendations and treatment plan development,
  • management of technicians,
  • relationships with caregivers,
  • communication with funders,
  • documentation,
  • collaborative team-based problem solving,
  • application of evidence-based practices
  • Model the application of PHF values in interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain certifications and further develop best clinical practices.
  • Create and manage own schedule to fulfill client needs.
  • Other duties as required by the Senior Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Current BCBA certification as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Master’s degree in psychology, education, or a related human services field.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience while working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
  • Exemplary performance of PHF standards for case supervision.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification or commitment to achieve certification (provided by Project HOPE Foundation).
  • Clear criminal background check and TB test.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work within a team environment.
