Project HOPE Foundation is Hiring an Intake Specialist Near Greenville, SC

Project Hope Foundation, a leading provider of clinic-, classroom-, community-, and home-based
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, is
actively seeking an individual interested in a full-time position as an Intake Specialist to support
prospective clients and their families as they seek PHF clinical services and maintain processes for all
intake areas. Reporting to the Intake Coordinator, this role manages all aspects of qualifying and
onboarding prospective clients for PHF’s Hope Reach program. This role interacts with multiple
internal departments and serves as the liaison to prospective client families, providing information,
guidance and managing all required documentation. A nonprofit provider of ABA therapy in Upstate
South Carolina, Project Hope Foundation offers a range of programs designed to meet the needs of
our more than 250 clients, creating a flexible, fast-paced, and collaborative environment for
employees.

The expected workday is from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. This position is 75% virtual and
25% on-site within our multiple clinics across the upstate. Growth opportunities are available.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the process of starting a new individual to include all communication, prospective
    client family tours/meetings, evaluation sessions, and receiving and maintaining all needed
    paperwork for prospective client files
  • Coordinate with all departments connected to the start of a new individual to include
    Schedules, Billing, Clinical Staff and Administrative Support
  • Maintain PHF waiting lists, monitoring prospective service locations, time on the waiting list,
    and type of funding for each individual
  • Execute verbal communication with families of prospective clients on PHF’s waiting list,
    ensuring personal contact is made with families applying for services
  • Monitor and respond to incoming questions and requests for information from individuals
    interested in receiving services
  • Execute internal diagnostic, speech and OT services waiting lists and transitions into these
    respective services for current clients
  • Execute PHF’s internal client transition process of current clients moving to a different clinic
    location and/or program, ensuring all steps and communication are completed in an orderly
    and timely manner
  • Evaluate, develop, execute and maintain current processes and flows within our intake system
    as a whole
  • Monitor all client paperwork and intake data, ensuring accuracy, connection to all applicable
    departments and efficiency in storage and accessibility
  • Other office work and duties as requested

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks and projects in a changing work environment
  • Diplomacy in dealing with sensitive information; ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, proficient or ability to be trained in Google Suite,
    CentralReach, and Podio
  • Positive attitude and ability to work within a team environment
