Job Title: Finastra Technical Consultant

Location: Indiana, Pennsylvania (Local Candidate)

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Finastra Expertise:
  • Demonstrate deep understanding and hands-on experience with Finastra - Summit OTC derivatives platform.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in various OTC products and their lifecycle, including trade processing, settlements, and regulatory reporting.
  • OTC Derivatives Workflow:
  • Manage and optimize OTC derivatives related workflow, including confirm/affirm process, trade capture, CCPs (Central Counterparties), and ISDA agreements.
  • Collateral Management and Margin Calls:
  • Oversee collateral management activities, including margin calls, collateral agreements, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to collateral management.
  • DTCC Report Hub and Regulatory Reporting:
  • Work with DTCC Report Hub for regulatory reporting and ensure accurate and timely submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on regulatory reporting requirements and implementations.
  • Technical Consultation:
  • Provide technical consultation and support to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders on Finastra Summit OTC derivatives platform.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing system performance, and implementing solutions.
  • Documentation and Training:
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for Finastra Summit platform.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal staff and clients on platform functionalities and best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies on platform-related matters.
  • Programming Languages:
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL for Oracle and T-SQL for MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, triggers, and database optimizations.
  • Web Technologies:
  • Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
  • Integration and API Development:
  • Experience in integrating financial systems using APIs, web services, and messaging protocols (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP, JMS).
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Skills in data analysis, data modeling, and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
  • Version Control:
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git for code repository management and collaboration.
  • Agile Methodologies:
  • Experience working in Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and user story management.
  • Documentation Tools:
  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or Wiki for maintaining project documentation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8 years of hands-on experience with Finastra - Summit OTC derivatives platform in a techno functional role.
  • Expertise in OTC derivatives products and their lifecycle, OTC derivatives workflow, confirm/affirm process, trade capture, CCPs, ISDA agreements, DTCC Report Hub, collateral management, margin calls, and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in documentation, training, and knowledge transfer activities related to financial platforms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial services industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,788.38 - $120,207.51 per year
