Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage administrative tasks and operations within the organization
- Maintain and update medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for healthcare professionals
- Handle patient inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient privacy
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
- Assist with billing and financial transactions
- Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Skills:
- Minimally 1 year experience in working in a similar role
- Experience with insurance verification and processing claims
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective patient interaction
- Bilingual in Spanish
