Health Improvement Nurse– ProgressiveHealth Occ Health Services, LLC – Atlanta, GA

• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6am-2pm

We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Licensed Practical Nurse to partner with our team of professionals at the Atlanta Hartsfield – Jackson International Airport. This position will provide proactive prevention, outreach, education, testing, and acute care management to the employees. We strive to increase the industrial athlete’s ability to perform their job duties safely and decrease the risk of injury through intervention at the early onset of discomfort in a dynamic work environment. What will you be doing in this role?

• Patient assessment, first aid and treatment, including but not limited to, medical triage, general illness, medical consultation, vital checks, medical injections, wound care, first aid (ice, heat, etc.), etc.
• Vision and hearing testing
• Emergency response, when needed, for acute medical or life-threatening events
• Medical advice, education, and resources
• Keeping accurate, detailed documentation related to injury reports, treatment notes, and evaluations
• Other duties, as assigned.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Active LPN/RN licensure or ability to obtain Georgia licensure
• CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
• The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
• Previous occupational health experience is a plus
• A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
• Be able to maintain confidentiality
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
