Progressive Reliability is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Franklin, IL

Salary: $27 -$34 /Hr

Shift: 11pm - 7am (Rotating days)

Seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electrical systems to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure smooth operation and maintenance, focusing on electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilize CMMS to manage workflow and enter work order feedback.
  • Support and recommend improvement to the preventive maintenance program.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
  • Identify and communicate all needs toward maintaining spare parts inventory.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems in a timely manner.
  • Install, dismantle, and relocate machinery as needed.

Qualifications:

  • PLC Programming / Troubleshooting
  • Welding / Injection molding.
  • Understanding of mechanical assemblies (conveyors, sprockets, belts, pulleys, gearboxes, centrifugal pumps, vacuum pumps)
  • Knowledge of electrical components (480V/220V, fuses, relays, contactors, motors)
  • Ability to read Hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting.
  • Understand electrical schematics for troubleshooting circuits of 480VAC, 120VAC and 24VDC.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician
  • Strong mechanical / Electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
