Janitorial Crew Member (TNCO) Job Summary:
Summary: Day Porters engage in cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining premises by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Adheres to work schedule provided by Supported Employment Supervisor.
2. Assists in ensuring a safe work environment
3. Cleans and sanitizes high touch areas
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES
None
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations, where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
None
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required and/or previous janitorial experience preferred.
2. Valid Tennessee, Kentucky, or Alabama driver’s license
3. Ability to read and follow directions.
4. Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
5. TB test within the last 12 months.
6. Satisfactory criminal background check and clear driving record
7. Ability/availability to attend and pass all training course offered and required.
