Program Manager candidates for the Global Mission opportunity will have the following responsibilities and qualifications:
• Manage a portfolio of Government programs, meeting technical, cost, and schedule objectives as well as successful delivery of technological solutions.
• Serve as the program management interface to the government program office for assigned programs and/or activities.
• Lead engineering teams on development of mission-focused solutions with experience in Agile-based management methods as well as traditional waterfall-style methods.
• Provide oversight of technical teams and ensure that the teams are suitably resourced to execute effectively.
• Coordinate with both internal and external support organizations to ensure that programs are fully compliant with our and government requirements.
• Lead proposal efforts, including the development of work statements, schedules, budgets, and compelling technical approaches.
• Work effectively with a geographically distributed team and external collaborators for business development and program execution.
• Identify and qualify our capabilities that may have a significant mission impact on mission capability gaps.
Qualifications:
• BS/MS/MBA/PhD in Aerospace, CS, EE, ME, physics, or a similar field, with a 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Relevant military experience may also be considered in accounting for professional experience.
• Deep understanding of DoD/IC customer culture, missions, and national security challenges.
• Program/project management experience in complex technical activities in USG/DoD programs.
• Direct experience in program/project management of R&D technology development activities, and/or successful USG technology transition activities.
• Direct experience in developing risk management plans, budgets, and schedules, and delivering presentations/reviews.
• Ability to interact with and provide direction to multidisciplinary technical teams both internal and external.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including strong presentation skills to groups of >20 attendees.
• Current / in-scope Top Secret clearance, with the ability to successfully obtain program specific accesses as required.
• US Citizenship required.
