Profound Treatment is looking to hire a certified counselor (CCAPP or CAADE) to serve as a counselor / case manager among our team of professionals within our substance use disorder treatment centers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversees coordination of client needs and works in collaboration with client and primary therapist in treatment/discharge planning and goals, identifying additional needed support services including educational, vocational, legal, recreational, mental health and social services
• Completes and maintains all documentation of services delivered
• Ensures cohesion of services documented within client files, and assists with compliance in DHCS and Joint Commission standards
• Keeps a schedule of consistent case management sessions with clients
• Coordinates service provision with probation officers, attorneys, etc., as needed
• Complies with local, state, and federal confidentiality laws and regulations
• Facilitates group counseling sessions
• Collaborates with members of the treatment team to ensure effective delivery of a full spectrum of clinical and social services
• Attends and participates in weekly treatment team meetings
• Participates in staff meetings when appropriate

Skills and Knowledge Required

• Must be able to accurately document all services provided to clients
• Ability to develop excellent rapport with clients
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Must have the ability to coordinate a continuum of treatment / services for clients

Education / Certification Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be certified with CAADE, CCAPP or CADTP.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65k-75 annually
