PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is Hiring a Low Voltage Technician Near Biloxi, MS

Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics and Information Technology Support Services. We are currently seeking multiple Low Voltage Technicians at multiple levels of experience to join our team of professionals in support of the U.S. Air Force Base Keesler Camera Installation opportunity.

The level of Technician (Junior, Mid, or Senior) will be determined by the employees level of experience in performing the duties of the job.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Commercial installation/service work experience with fire, security, access control, CCTV, security cameras, access control, and POS systems. 
  • Provide complete structured cabling system installations; Ability to properly install both copper and fiber optic cables
  • Terminate and test Category 5e and 6 copper cables to manufacturer and BICSI standards
  • Terminate and test Multi-mode fiber to manufacturer and BICSI standards
  • Install equipment racks, cabinets, and cable support systems, including J-hooks, Arlington straps and ladder tray systems
  • Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and testing
  • Ability to complete the tasks assigned in a timely manner
  • Ability to understand basic wiring diagrams and installation instruction
  • Ability to work with small telecommunication components such as fiber optic strands and small gauge copper wire
  • Ability to perform as crew leader as assigned. Crew leader assignments will be made based on project specifics and the demonstrated abilities of the individual
    • Ability to assure that all team members reporting to you complete their assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Use proper care on all company assets to avoid breakage, misuse, theft, etc.
  • Complete and submit basic paperwork (timecards, material forms, etc.) according to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance; wearing the company uniform during all project related duties unless specifically directed otherwise by a superior
  • Help load and unload daily supplies and equipment on to and off of company vehicles
  • Performs related work as assigned. 

Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience:
    • Fire alarm: 1 year (Required); Security installation: 1 year (Required); commercial/retail installation: 1 year (Required)
  • Clearance:
    • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
    • Must have Valid Drivers License
  • Qualifications:
    • Certifications are a plus! OSHA 30; Aerial Lift Certification; BISCI Installer and/or Technician
    • Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts & roof tops utilizing proper fall protection
    • Ability to use small hand tools and power tools
    • Climbing of stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds.; Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and drive a vehicle.

*As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
