Professional Search Network is Hiring a HR Coordinator Near Chemung, NY

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in BIG FLATS NY. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Aligns with Senior Leadership Team to establish direction and policy for the entire operation, while acting as a Change Agent, requiring the ability to manage continuous improvement initiatives across all plant departments and levels.
  • Provides guidance and support to supervisors/ management in dealing consistently and constructively with HR issues (i.e. comp., disciplinary actions, development, staffing) to facilitate a positive company culture as needed or directed by VP HR.
  • Facilitates resolution of employee concerns and grievances with supervisors or company management as necessary or as directed.
  • Oversees hiring processes including the recruitment, screening, interviewing and selection of candidates while ensuring compliance

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum five years' experience in a Human Resources Management / Generalist capacity or related role in a manufacturing environment

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, business administration or related field required
  • HR Certification, preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required, Food Manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to promote positive labor relations
  • Bi-lingual with Spanish speaking and writing skills strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong Organizational, Written, Verbal and group or individual Presentation skills
  • Must be able to build relationships across the entire organization
  • Passionate about learning; possess the desire to continue to learn and grow professionally and personally.
  • Ability to create innovative solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and respond to short project deadlines with accuracy
  • Must be able to work extended hours/days up to and including all 3 shifts when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.84 - $26.30 per hour
