Compound Pharmacy Technician
Hourly $ 18 to $20 will depend on experience and may go a little higher with a lot of experience.
Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Compound Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the compounding of specialized medications, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.
Responsibilities:

- Prepare compounded medications according to established formulations and protocols.
- Accurately measure, mix, and package medications in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure precise compounding outcomes.
- Maintain a clean and organized compounding area, following safety and cleanliness protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on compounding equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Keep accurate records of compounded medications and inventory levels.
- Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries related to compounded medications.
- Stay informed about industry updates, new compounding techniques, and changes in regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and Pharmacy Technician License.
- Proven experience as a Compound Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding procedures and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with compounding software and electronic health records is a plus.
