Correctional medicine is a challenging and exciting opportunity for today’s dental professional, allowing you to truly utilize all your learned skills and knowledge. It is the perfect hybrid of Outpatient and Urgent/Emergency Dentistry, serving an underserved and extremely diverse patient population.

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Dentist to join our team at through the Hudson Valley in New York State.

This position only requires 36-40 hours of on-site dental care weekly. Flexible schedule Monday - Friday, during normal business hours

• Saratoga County Correctional Facility in Ballston Spa, NY
• Warren County Jail in Lake George, NY
• Montgomery County Jail in Fultonville, NY
• Dutchess County Jail in Poughkeepsie, NY
• Ulster County Jail in Kingston, NY

To quickly highlight some key points:

• Annual compensation is negotiable and commensurate based on experience, hourly range $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Dental Medicine.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of New York.
• Maintain a current DEA number & ability to prescribe medications in New York.
• Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to develop a trusting relationship with patients/inmates.
• Ability to monitor, observe and document patients.
