Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring the overall well-being of our clients.
Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to specific dietary requirements
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any observed changes in client's condition
- Adhere to all medical documentation guidelines and HIPAA regulations
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in hospice care or working with individuals requiring memory care
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Proficient in providing tube feeding assistance
- Understanding of the unique needs of individuals in nursing home settings
