Productive Plastics, Inc is Hiring a CNC Programmer Near Mount Laurel, NJ

CNC 5 Axis Programmer, (1) years experience min.
Productive Plastics, Inc. is a well-established Plastic Manufacturing company located in Mt. Laurel, NJ seeking an experienced 5/6 Axis CNC operator or Robotic Programmer. Excellent opportunity for the right candidate to grow with this technology.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Convert CAD files to cutter paths and post program to selected machine.
  • Troubleshoot and make any adjustments necessary to yield a part that conforms to customer specifications out of the trimming process.
  • Standardize and simplify setup of machines and fixtures to ensure work center is production ready for operators on reoccurring jobs.
  • Operate machines and produce parts when not setting up a machine.
  • Safety management.
  • Accurate daily production reporting
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Extensive CAM or equivalent (MasterCam preferred) knowledge.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing industrial product, tool or design engineering, and Solidworks preferred.
  • Extensive Programming experience (5 or 6 axis preferred)
  • In depth knowledge of Fanuc robots and how to apply them.
  • A secondary knowledge of ABB robots is a plus.
  • In depth knowledge of the ISO and safety standards.
  • Good working knowledge of part fixturing and handling.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls.
  • High level of analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills.
