• The Unit Supervisor's responsibilities are to effectively manage and maintain all warehousing and/or production aspects in your department. The Unit Supervisor is ultimately responsible for quality, accuracy, organization and efficiency of all scope related duties.
• Scope of responsibilities:
• Overall process audits, efficient process solutions, productive quality measures, accurate process reporting and receipts, accurate inventory levels, insurance of safe practices and procedures.
• Qualifications:
• Minimum 3-5 years Management Experience
• WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) Experience
• SAP Experience
• 3-5 years Shipping and Receiving Background
• 2-4 years Sit-down Forklift Experience and Lift truck -OP (cherry picker)
• Warehouse/Forklift Safety Knowledge
• Basic Computer Knowledge
• Inventory Management Background
• Attention to detail
• Machine Operation Knowledge
• Creativity
• Coordinated the operational activities of the receiving department in accordance with company standards through effective communication with peers, management team and receivers.
• • Contribute to the achievement of financial goals established for the receiving department through effective inventory control and the efficient execution of receiving and processing of daily receipts, returns and Client customer service request.
• • Ensure receivers consistently deliver on the company's commitment to customer service.
• • Reinforce performance standards established to control shrink and potential loss to the company.
• • Protect company assets by accurately completing and submitting (emailing) all tracking and receiving paperwork for all shipments as well as partnering with the General manager or Assistant Manager when issues occur such as any incorrect items, information and or shipment counts.
• • Planed and assigned the workload to optimize the payroll budget while adhering to all receiving productivity standards.
• • Executed company standards by communicating and following up on all tasks and customer request as the business required.
• • 3PL Dashboard should be utilized and checked daily for customer request all inbound task our request need addressed or resolved upon arrival of shift with in the first 3-hour segment.
• • Non-compliant products should be submitted and communicated with management upon receipt
• • Client Customer service work orders and request need acknowledged addressed and resolved promptly upon receipt. With confirmation of completed task need provided to GM or ASM for billing purpose.
• • Daily Job task checklist should be used to ensure all task are completed in timely manner; this task sheet has been created as a tool to help the flow of daily job task
• • Manage daily all customer returns, work request and complaints.
• • Provide email copy of all BOL to GM and ensure all pallets scanned upon arrival.
• • Check quantities against PO and work orders
• • Operate sit down forklift and scanner during receiving process.
• • Generate and process any required paperwork using WMS system.
• • Enter applicable data in WMS for receiving of product /location within warehouse for put away
