Job Summary
Financial analyst will undertake aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, and financial reporting. Have a quality understanding of a projects short, medium, and long-term financial actuals and projections. 
Requirements:
  • Analytical skills to present and recommend financial subjects to management for current and past financial data performance.
  • Thorough understanding of accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to learn and understand generally accepted auditing standards.
  • Understand what information is relevant to management and works to present that information in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communication proficiency both written and oral.
  • Applicants must be a “U.S. Persons” as defined in International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). A “U.S. Person” is a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or an individual who has been admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.

  • Understanding of company goals and objectives.
  • Willingness to self-develop and maintain additional skills required to perform position.
  • Maintain and communicate status for all active projects.
  • Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to learn additional company software.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Analyze past/present financial data of organization, estimating future/realized revenues/expenditures, and applies principles of finance.
  • Assists with financial functions including assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, consolidation, taxes, cost, and project control.
  • Assists in preparing special studies, analysis, and recommendations for budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Advises management of matters, such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
  • Interprets budgets to managements.
  • Creates financial reports based on data analysis to support organizational decision making and checks for accuracy.
  • Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Create invoices and reports for contracts.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Steward of financial documents; logging, cataloging, filing.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring program financial status, trends, averages.
Education/Experience:
  • Education in Accounting, Finance or Math,
  • 1 years of experience in related field preferred or education and experience to equal 5 years,
