The Producers Guild of America is seeking an Arbitrations Coordinator to join our team and assist in managing the submission process of films. As an Arbitrations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in organizing every aspect of the Producers Mark ("p.g.a.") arbitration process that determines the eligibility of individuals for producing honors in film. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the entertainment industry and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
Collect information and manage files for a high volume of film productions.
Gather and organize evidence for arbitrations, ensuring sensitive information is appropriately redacted.
Solicit and track submissions.
Schedule and coordinate arbitration panels.
Answer inquiries regarding the submission process and provide guidance as needed.
Assist in drafting and managing documents related to the Producers Mark process.
Collaborate with the legal team on special projects and initiatives as required.
Key Details:
Hourly Rate: ($45,000 - $50,000 per year)
Location: Los Angeles office, hybrid position with three days in-office and two days remote.
Qualifications:
2 years of legal and/or administrative experience, preferably within the entertainment industry.
Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Superior writing skills with expert level knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficient in managing data and generating reports.
Solid analytical and computer skills, including expertise in Adobe, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs, as well as the Google suite.
Strong oral communication skills to engage with influential producers, staff, and interns effectively.
Ability to work independently while contributing successfully to a team.
Unwavering ethics and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
Demonstrated sound judgment, even in ambiguous situations.
Positive, self-motivated attitude.
