Position Overview:
As an Evening and Weekend Group Therapist at Prodigy Healthcare, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality therapeutic services to our clients during non-traditional hours. This position is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative team that fosters a positive and enriching environment for individuals seeking substance abuse counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Group Therapy Facilitation:

• Plan and conduct engaging group therapy sessions during evenings and weekends.
• Create a safe and inclusive space, promoting collaboration and support among clients.
• Adhere to established group rules, including holding clients accountable for punctuality and payment before sessions.

2. Client Engagement:

• Foster positive and collaborative therapeutic relationships with clients, supporting them on their recovery journey.
• Encourage a sense of community within group therapy sessions.

3. Documentation:

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of client participation and progress.
• Embrace our commitment to thorough documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure timely completion of progress notes and other documentation.

Adherence to Group Rules:

• Punctuality: Hold clients accountable for punctuality by not admitting late arrivals to group sessions.
• Financial Compliance: Ensure that clients have completed payment before the start of each session.
• Session Duration: Conduct group therapy sessions for the full designated duration (e.g., 90 minutes).
• Documentation Timeliness: Complete and submit progress notes in accordance with established timelines.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Licensed or license-eligible therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.).
• 3 years of experience in facilitating group therapy sessions, preferably in substance abuse counseling.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Weekends as needed

• Group Facilitation: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Fingerprint Clearance Card (Preferred)

• Counseling License (LPC, LMSW, LASAC, LISAC, etc.) (Preferred)
