We are actively seeking a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Analyst to support our growing online marketing team. The SEM Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day execution and optimization of paid search campaigns, primarily in platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. We are searching for a candidate who not only possesses a passion for data analysis and attention to detail, but also demonstrates the ability to independently navigate and make strategic decisions in the ever-evolving industry!
In this role you will:
Develop, execute, and manage SEM strategies and campaigns aligned with business objectives
Define and track KPIs, including CPA, ROAS and gross profit to make data driven decisions
Continuously test and optimize landing page performance, search campaign performance, and creative ads
Conduct A/B testing on ad variations
Refine geotargeting settings to reach specific geographic locations more effectively
Allocate budgets effectively among different campaigns and ad groups
Track daily, weekly, and monthly campaign spend
Create and analyze client reports utilizing tools such as Excel, Google Ads, and Microsoft Ad Center to encompass ad copy performance analysis and competitive benchmarking assessments
Analyze data in Google Analytics to monitor real-time user activity and gain deep insights into audience behavior and demographics
Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to identify cost reduction opportunities, improve margins, and provide campaign performance metrics
Provide strategic recommendations based on detailed understanding of performance metrics
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of full-time experience in paid search marketing
Working knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, or similar advertising platform
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables and lookup formulas)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a results-oriented environment, both individually and as part of a team
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Agile Mindset – a small company mentality (e.g., test quickly, fail quickly, fix quickly) is needed along with a collaborative approach
Self-motivated with eagerness to learn and take on more responsibility
Bachelor’s Degree preferred (math, economics, marketing, or advertising preferred)
Experience working in affiliate marketing or with affiliate networks is a plus (Impact Radius, Commission Junction, ShareASale, etc.)
Experience managing paid acquisition campaigns for apps is a plus
Experience working with LTVs and multi-conversion funnels is a plus

Physical Ability:
We are actively seeking candidates based in the Los Angeles area for this position. This role is hybrid, and candidates must be able to fulfill an in-office requirement of three days per week. We believe that local presence will enhance collaboration and contribution to the overall success of the team.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000.
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, commission, equity, or benefits.
