Procure is Hiring a Community Coordinator Near St. Louis, MO

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Coordinator. As the Community Coordinator at Procure, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a sense of community and engagement both within and outside our store. This multifaceted position will involve community outreach, event planning and execution, digital marketing, and standard sales associate responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Community Outreach:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and influencers to enhance the store's presence in the community.
  • Collaborate with local partners, businesses, and organizations for co-promotional opportunities and joint events.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, attending community meetings and events to promote Procure.

Event Planning:

  • Plan and execute in-store events, pop-up shops, and promotions to drive foot traffic and create a memorable shopping experience.
  • Coordinate special promotions or collaborations with a focus on engaging our customer base and the local community and boosting store revenue.
  • Manage event logistics, including setup, coordination with vendors, and post-event evaluation/follow up.
  • Work with the Assistant Manager and Inventory Manager to project store staffing needs, request event supplies, and request event specific products or restocks from Brand Partners.
  • Work with the Assistant Manager and COO to create and follow varying event-specific budgets.
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility and drive traffic to the store's website and social media platforms.
  • Create engaging content for email marketing and social media channels, including Instagram and Facebook.
  • Includes making graphics in Canva and capturing photo/video content for event promotion
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve business objectives and event goals.

Sales Associate Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, sharing procure’s story, and assisting customers with product selection, inquiries, and purchases.
  • Independently open/close the store according to written guidelines and policies.
  • Process transactions accurately and handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product and Brand Partners and be able to communicate their features, benefits , and brand stories effectively and accurately.
  • Follow written procedures for receiving deliveries and Brand Partner restock drop offs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, and styling.
  • Keep the store organized and clean - including, but not limited to, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, emptying trash/recycling, and watering plants
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of popular social media channels for daily posting, stories, reels, and building evergreen marketing content.
  • Assist with all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in community outreach, event planning, or digital marketing is required.
  • A passion for community, relationships and uplifting others.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for creating engaging and memorable experiences.
  • A problem solver and determined optimist who is willing to work with a variety of people, and see the good in every situation.
  • Comfortable navigating social media platforms and digital marketing trends, and the courage to be on camera, use Social Media for community building and engage with the community online.
  • Proven ability to work both independently to build this area of our business and revenue streams related to community building.
  • Excellent communication skills, and willingness to self-reflect and accept responsibility when communication fails.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time hourly, non-exempt position averaging 10-20 hours per week. Hours of work to be determined by Procure management and will vary. Flexibility in scheduling is required for this position.
