Proctor Academy in Andover, NH is seeking a Life Science Teacher with the ability to teach plant science and manage an educational greenhouse. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to further develop and implement a strong curriculum; attend all school and department meetings; and fulfill other standard clerical duties normally associated with a teaching assignment.
Other duties associated with this full-time position include advising, participation in orientation and project period, involvement with afternoon activities and residential life. Flexibility, energy, creativity, and a strong background in science teaching are required; a sense of humor is recommended.
Full-time benefits include a 401(k) plan, health and dental insurance, life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability.
