Medical Receptionist / Practice Coordinator position for busy multi-disciplinary practice offering physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture and other allied health services. Candidate must have at least 1 year experience working in a private practice medical or doctors office with high priority given to those that have physical therapy or chiropractic office experience. Candidate must possess the following skill sets: comfortable and fluent with basic computer skills, email, fax, scan, must have worked on at least 1 EHR ( electronic health records system) and 1 Practice Management System in a private practice setting. Must be able to perform basic computer skills, faxing, scanning , emails etc. Insurance communication experience including pre- authorizations, insurance verifications are critical skill sets needed. Experience with manual phone call based insurance verification of benefits and obtaining prior insurance authorizations for care is highly sought. Ideal candidate is understanding of patient customer service, has great communication skills and can MULTI-TASK in a fast pace environment. Our office is accessible by public transportation (Bee Line Bus Service in Westchester) Please google map our location and determine if you can reasonably commute. **Candidate MUST be flexible in working 8 hour shifts between 8am to 7pm , M-Fr and 2 Sat mornings per month from 8 to 12. 3 work shifts of 11 to 7 , M, W, Fr will be required with some flexibility on end time based on patient schedule for that day. Again, schedule flexibility is a must!.
