What You Do

• Inspects fabric from vendors and logs results.
• Inspects other raw material parts and logs results.
• Communicates findings with cushion production and mills. Requests Return Authorization from mills when needed.
• Packages and ships fabrics for return.
• Audit WIP, finished product, and then report and recommend improvements as needed.
• Provide proper documentation to Raw Material Supervisor.
• Assists in raw materials area, as needed.

What You Bring

• One or more years in a quality service department or manufacturing preferred; furniture or apparel industry a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Highly organized, detail and goal-oriented, with the ability to work under deadlines.
• Excellent critical thinking, data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills including an intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word required, ERP experience a plus.
• Proficient skills in using general office equipment including desktop, telephone, printer, copier, fax, scanner, etc.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with coworkers.
