Speech-Language Pathologist Vacancy

Are you in search of a fresh opportunity? Look no further - we are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 24-25 school year!
Hourly Rate: The rate starts at $45 for Clinical Fellows
To qualify for this position, applicants must:

  • Hold a Speech license in Rhode Island
  • ASHA CCC's or Clinical Fellows welcome!
  • Have a master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Preferably, have some experience in pediatrics or schools

    Responsibilities:

    • Proficiency in identifying, planning, implementing, and evaluating SLP therapy treatment for elementary, middle, and highschool-aged children with cognitive communication disorders, speech and/or language impairments or delays
    • Ability to treat speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders in school-aged children
    • Facilitate goals and objectives according to each child's educational plan
    • Provide counseling to parents, students, and teachers regarding speech and/or language disorders
    • Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
    • Maintain accurate records
    • Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
    • Perform other SLP duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
    • Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours, and project a professional image at all times
    • Adhere to productivity requirements, complete productivity reports, and submit them in a timely manner
