Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Position Available in Manassas, Virginia!

Are you passionate about helping individuals improve their communication skills? ProCare Therapyis seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to add to our team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in conducting assessments and evaluations of clients' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Implement individualized therapy plans developed by the supervising SLP.
• Provide direct therapy services to clients, including implementing exercises and activities to improve speech and language skills.
• Assist clients with the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, if applicable.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the supervising SLP and other members of the therapy team to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Provide support and guidance to clients and their families or caregivers.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping others.
