ProCare Therapy, a staffing organization working with school districts in your area, are currently searching for a passionate and devoted School Social Worker for a position located in the Denver, CO area. The district is looking to fill this position immediately, and are looking for candidates with strong experience and relevant skills. Job Description:

Full-Time Position (40 hours/week)
Monday - Friday
Location: Englewood, CO
Caseload Details: Elementary School Students
Pay Range: $40-50/hour

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students whose social, emotional, and behavioral needs impact their school performance. Engage in early identification of issues to provide timely support.
Implement preventive measures and intervention strategies to assist students. This includes providing counseling and support to address social and emotional needs.
Work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop comprehensive support plans for students. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure consistent care and intervention.
Provide direct assistance to students during crisis situations. Offer counseling and mediation services to address conflicts and challenges faced by students.
Assist in developing and implementing educational plans, particularly for students with special needs or learning disabilities. Advocate for students' needs and rights within the school system.
Develop and evaluate school social work programs. Ensure these programs effectively meet the diverse needs of students.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with the latest practices in school social work.

Job Qualifications:

Masters or Doctorate Level Degree in Social Work
Active School Clearances in the State of Colorado
1-2 Years Previous Experience in School Settings (preferred)
