Position: School Psychologist:

Job Description: As a School Psychologist you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students in our district. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' strengths and areas of need.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
• Providing counseling and support services to students to address behavioral and emotional challenges.
• Assisting in the implementation of school-wide initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to students' educational success.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist in Rhode Island.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to conduct evaluations, interpret data, and make appropriate recommendations.
• Dedication to promoting students' academic and emotional development.
