Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare professionals by accurately transcribing medical documentation and maintaining medical records. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in gaining experience in the medical field. This position is currently being offered as parttime; however, may potentially work into fulltime.

Responsibilities:
- Accompany healthcare professionals during patient visits and accurately document medical encounters
- Transcribe medical information, including patient history, physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans
- Enter data into electronic medical record systems efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all medical documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong typing skills with the ability to type accurately and quickly
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to understand and transcribe complex medical jargon
- Knowledge of medical records systems and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Solid understanding of anatomy and physiology to accurately document medical procedures and diagnoses

Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
