Quality Tech - Major Job Function & Duties

Our Quality Technician is responsible for in-process inspection and testing quality verification. Ensure all QA test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.

Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material. Primary Duties :

• Perform incoming inspections of materials and components
• Perform in-process quality control inspections and document results of tests / inspections
• Identify, segregate and label non-conforming product. Notify management of non-conforming product
• Maintain quality records as per documented procedures, including test data and retained samples. Communicate inspection findings with appropriate Quality, Production and Engineering personnel
• Assemble job books for production
• Perform quality inspections

Wage

• $39,000 / year - $45,000 / year (approximately $19-$22 / hour) - based on experience
• $1 / hour Shift Premium (for 2nd shift)

Hours :

Second Shift (Post Training) Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm*Training will be conducted on 1st shift for approximately 60-90 days

URGENT

Requirements

• High School Diploma of GED
• 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Prior experience utilizing testing equipment preferred
• Prior experience utilizing / reading measuring tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Keen attention to detail with good organization and communication skills
• Physical demands : bending, carrying, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, and walking. Frequent keyboarding.
