Pro Action of Steuben and Yates is a dedicated organization that provides essential services to the aging population. We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Aide for our Yates Office of the Aging. This role is crucial in ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our customers aged 60 and over. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be part of our Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Program (EISEP), providing non-medical, in-home support services. We offer competitive pay and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform light house cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Prepare meals for clients as needed
- Handle laundry duties
- Assist with shopping tasks
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of housekeeping skills
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with older adult population is preferred
Compensation
The base pay for this position ranges from $16.50 - $17.00 per hour.
