You will be responsible for helping oversee Pro-Vac’s accounting operations. Every day, you will assist in managing the schedule, assignments and workflow of accounting staff, prepare financial reports and accounting statements, post journal entries to general ledger, process payroll and prepare payroll reports. To thrive in this role, you must be an experienced accounting professional, have a thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices, and practice excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. **What you'll LOVE doing...

• Hiring, training and overseeing subordinate accounting staff
• Overseeing the scheduling, assignments and daily workflow of subordinate accounting staff
• Posting journal entries to general ledger
• Generating summary sheets for use by supervisor or auditor
• Processing payroll and prepares payroll reports
• Allocating expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures.

The BEST candidate will have…

• Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance or related field
• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
• 3 years of increasingly responsible experience in accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Direct experience using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
