• 1st Shift
• 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm- If OT, will not work past 4 : 00pm
• Pay : $17.95 / hr

After 1 month

• 2nd Shift
• 4 : 30pm-1 : 00am- If OT, will not work past 2 : 30am
• Pay : $18.45

Position Summary Loads, unloads, and moves materials. Drives liquefied gas powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift stack tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.

This is a general labor position performed in a manufacturing environment. After 1 month :

Performs repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce automobile exhaust system components. Assembles and welds together metal components of products with oxygen / gas arc-welding equipment.

• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
• Loads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Using a pick sheet to pull loads and label product and put away empty racks.
• Daily inspections of fork trucks.
• Makes inventory transactions via computer terminal when removing materials form store room.
• Accurately complete reports and paperwork as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Creating and maintaining a safe work environment for self and others.
• Cross training when needed or required.
• Willingness and ability to work other positions when needed.
• Effectively communicate with management, prior shift, staff and others on a daily, weekly and / or as needed basis.
• Inspects products for structural defects such as cracks, splits and proper alignment.

After 1 month

• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Tends machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Works on line where task vary as different model of same article moves along line.
• Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
• Obtains specified wire and threads consumable electrode wire through portable welding gun.
• Connects cables and makes appropriate adjustments to welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse, as specified by Welding Engineer or Standard Operations Sheet.
• Strikes (forms) arc which generates heat to melt and deposit metal from welding gun to work piece and join edges of work pieces.
• Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.
• Welds in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions.
• Accurately complete reports and paperwork as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Creating and maintaining a safe work environment for self and others.
• Cross training when needed or required.
• Willingness and ability to work other positions when needed.
• Effectively communicate with management, prior shift, staff and others on a daily, weekly and / or as need basis.
• Requires material be moved from one position / location to another in an effort to produce a finished quality product.
• Muscular, cardiovascular and upper / lower body manipulation is used to move the product through a process.
• Responsible for checking, recognizing, reporting and correcting the quality of product.

Background Profile

• High school diploma / GED
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Stand for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to pass background check
• Working in and / or standing around loud machinery
