Job Title : Assistant Safety Coordinator Location : Goshen, IN Pay : $19.00 / hr Shift / Hours : 1st Shift, 8 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm Responsibilities : Execute safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

Arrive at work promptly at 8 : 00 am, prepared for any tasks that may arise. On orientation days, arrival time may be earlier than 8 : 00 am.

Perform other tasks and responsibilities within the Safety and Compliance Teams as assigned. Principal Duties (Including but not limited to) : Assist in overseeing the Safety and Compliance group with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.

Support in ensuring that Safety and Compliance positions adhere to established policies.Enforce policies and guidelines, fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.

Evaluate current practices and procedures to identify areas for improvement.Eventually, be prepared to step into any position to provide training, coaching, and guidance to the team.

Monitor BASIC and SMS scores from the FMCSA.Conduct audits and track various reports as necessary to meet corporate expectations.

Provide instruction, coaching, and remediation for contractors regarding safety infractions.Conduct driver safety audits and participate in driver orientations as needed.

Review driver orientation content to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.Participate in Safety Committee meetings.Assist in recruiting efforts, ensuring compliance with DOT and insurance requirements.

Aid in preparing audits, safety reports, and compliance evaluations.Note : This position may involve occasional participation in driver orientation activities and safety committee meetings.#Goshen
