Job Title : AssemblyPay : $17.00 / hourHours : 2nd Shift 3pm-1am Monday-Thursday, OT on Fridays needed. Location : GaryWork for a company that values customer service and quality! Pro Resources is excited to fill a new role for Assembly in one of Gary’s growing companies! This company produces packing products that are sustainable and customized for each customer! • Follow established job order specifications as applicable and always adhere to Safety and Quality policies
• Complete assigned manufacturing tasks using specified machinery and equipmentin allotted time
• Push product through designated machine, catch and stack product onto pallet using a pallet jack
• Glue product as indicated by order requirements
• Bundle and tie according to the specifications
• Read and interpret drawings and record measurements
• Ensure orders are prepared to the correct length, width, thickness, bundle amountsand skid amounts and remove product that does not meet quality standard
• Perform housekeeping tasks (sweep, empty trash, process scrap, etc.) as required
• Cross train in other areas to support business goals and objectives
• Perform and / or assist in other areas of plant as needed.Requirements :
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Able to work in a fast-paced work setting
• Must be able to stand for long period of time
• Ability to read blueprints & use a measuring tape
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime
• Must be able to work in a paper dust environment
• Must be able to work in a non-temperature control environment
• Must be able to wear required PPE : Steel toed boots, safety glasses, ear protections.
• Must submit to a drug screening and paid background checks.
