Responsibilities

• The contractor will be responsible for quality checking plastic pails and handles according to client specifications.
• This includes visually inspecting products, taking pictures of product and documenting any defects or issues.
• Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards are paramount.
• Complete inspection report upon completion using report template.
• Conducts quality control inspections of in-process and pre-shipment products at local facilities.
• Provides timely, detailed reports and photographic evidence of product, packaging, labeling, defects noted, etc.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Basic Quality Inspector - Familiarity with quality control processes, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs (such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and email), and the ability to complete inspection reports using provided templates.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing or quality assurance within a related industry is preferred.
• ISO 9001 knowledge and experience a plus.

Job type: 1099 contract.
Working setting: in person
Shift Information: Maximum 8-hour day, including report time; Once a week (preferably Wednesday through Friday)
Shift hours can be negotiated based on contractor availability; Shift hours will wary from project to project.
Ability to commute to Evansville, Indiana
