Pro Products is Hiring an Estimator Near Sturgeon, WI

Prepare quotes for our customers from customer supplied drawings and electronic files, to meet the customer’s needs and ensure the profitable operation of the company.

Primary Objectives:

  • Review projects to identify all costs including but not limited to; raw material, labor, tooling/fixturing and outsourced services, to account for a total cost, to accurately provide our customers a piece price for their parts.
  • Estimate machine production cycle times and set up times to understand both cost and scheduling impacts of the project.
  • Create and verify part routings, material requirements, outsourced service requirements. Identify costs or services not generally accepted as standard operating procedure.
  • Approve Customer purchase orders compared to quoted costs and services vs order requirements and suggest adjustments if they do not match.
  • Maintain ISO Standard, quality policy and objectives.
  • Assist with recommendations for policy and procedure.
  • Perform other duties and projects on an as needed basis.

Secondary Objectives:

  • Provide support for tooling and fixturing purchasing, or research.
  • Assist in Job Costing initiatives.

Position Requirements

  • Comprehensive experience with advanced CNC machining techniques, tooling and fixturing required.
  • Must be proficient in Blueprint Reading and GD&T.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented while also having the ability to multitask.
  • Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with JobBoss ERP and CAD/CAM software preferred.
