The Medical Center Patient Care Coordinator performs all front office related administrative duties for the Physical Therapy, Podiatry, 20/20 LifeStyles, My Best 10 and Orthopedics departments. Maintains clean, professional medical center front office with adherence to the show ready standards, world-class customer service and core values of PRO Club.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Greet patients and answer incoming front office calls in courteous, helpful and personable manner.
- Register patients according to established protocols, inform patients of medical office procedures and policy
- Answer all 20/20, MB10, Physical Therapy and Podiatry phone calls/voice mails and email inquiries and respond within 24 hours:
- Patient check-in/check-out, schedule patient appointments
- Schedule Final Phase I & II labs, and assessments
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient’s arrival: notifying provider and patient of any service delays
- Maintains accurate patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
- Assists patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance verifications
- Process 20/20 LifeStyles Initial contracts and upgrades
PAY AND SCHEDULE: $22-26/hour. Monday-Friday: 10am-6:30pm
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- College degree in related field preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis
- Working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred
- Experience in a medical environment preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Current CPR Certification required (From either Red Cross or American Heart Association)
