Role: ZOS System Administrator (with MF HW, NW, Security administration)

Location: Hartford-CT

HMC Management: Fulltime Role with TCS

• Maintenance of tape inventory control – Maintenance of Tape Management databases ·
• Maintain Remote (PPRC/XRC) replication methods and support ·
• Taking system dump and traces · MVS JES2 SPOOL & SYSLOG management ·
• Apply product Authorization codes ·
• Review entitlements of external users(outside of mainframe team) ·
• SMP/E based Installation for Maintenance of z/OS and tools ·
• Support System Software Management Facility(SSMF) activities ·
• Support Parallel Sysplex Implementation ·
• CFRM Policy maintenance ·
• Couple dataset movement during storage server upgrade/ storage consolidation ·
• Support Log stream Definition and Deletion ·
• Mounting and Un-mounting OMVS files ·
• Creating zFS directories ·

Digital Certificates Management ( also done by Network and Middleware teams)

• Experience in Disaster Recovery setup and conducting DR drills.
• Experience in Mainframe MIPS Optimization, Software rationalization.
• z/OS v2.x, JES2/JES3, DFSMS, SNA/VTAM & TCP/IP, RMF/SMF
• Mainframe Tools–SIEM, z/OS-SA or CA-OPS/MVS Automation
• Experience in IBM z13, z14 & z15 Mainframe HW and Parallel Sysplex/GDPS-GDDR Setup
• Mainframe Security administration with RACF

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,982.54 - $120,570.37 per year
