Snowflake Developer with Astronomer tool experience

• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, design, implementation and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
• Hands-on development experience with Snowflake features such as Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, Python, Tasks, Streas, Time travel, Zero Copy Cloning, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing and Stored Procedures.
• Developing EL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snow SQL.
• Understanding data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud based testing and clearly document implementations, so others can easily understand the requirements, implementation, and test conditions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Creation of DAGS in the Astronomer.
• Deploying DAGS from lower environments to higher environments.
• Expertise in setting up Internal and External dependencies of the DAGS in Astronomer.
• Expertise all of the concepts in Astronomer.
• Expertise in scheduling DAGS in Astronomer.
• Expertise in migrating Airflow DAGS to Astronomer.
• Experience with any scripting languages, preferably Python.
• Experience with an Datastage ETL tool is an added advantage.
• Expertise in Prod monitors of Astronomer DAGS, working on Incidents and Problem tickets and resolving them within SLA without rework.

Pay: $100,968.72 - $130,435.44 per year
