Broadcast Specialist

Location: Detroit, Michigan

Onsite Role

Must Have - OTT, Broadcast, ITIL, Juniper, Audio, Video, IPTV

Responsibilities:
- Interpret scripts and deliver news, stories, or other content on air
- Edit and proofread scripts for accuracy and clarity
- Conduct interviews and gather information for news stories
- Write and edit news articles or blog posts
- Collaborate with production team for post-production editing
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and audience members
- Perform video editing tasks using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
- Stay up-to-date with current events and industry trends
- Translate or provide bilingual content as needed

Skills:
- Strong interpretive skills to effectively deliver content on air
- Excellent editing skills for refining scripts and articles
- Technical writing abilities for creating engaging content
- Proficiency in post-production editing techniques
- Strong communication skills to engage with colleagues and audience members
- Experience in video editing using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
- Knowledge of journalism ethics and standards
- Bilingual proficiency to translate or provide content in multiple languages

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $21.09 - $25.39 per hour
