PRO EM National Event Services is Hiring a Warehouse Operations Inventory Manager Near Orlando, FL

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Inventory Manager plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficient inventory management within an organization. They are responsible for supporting inventory control procedures, monitoring stock levels, conducting regular inventory audits, entering purchase orders (POs), and assisting in optimizing inventory processes. The Warehouse Operations Inventory Manager collaborates with various departments to ensure adequate stock availability, minimize stock discrepancies, and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Update inventory records and databases to reflect stock movements, including receiving, shipping, and returns.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams to ensure accurate and timely receipt of goods.
  • Assist in the implementation and execution of inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain the 5S/6S warehouse system.
Purchase Order Processing:
  • Enter and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently into the inventory management system.
  • Verify PO details, including item descriptions, quantities, prices, and delivery dates.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to confirm order details, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain and organize PO documentation, such as order confirmations and packing slips.
Inventory Replenishment and Ordering:
  • Assist in forecasting inventory needs based on historical data, sales trends, and input from relevant departments.
  • Generate purchase orders or requisitions for stock replenishment and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate stock allocation and distribution across various departments or locations.
Inventory Analysis and Reporting:
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies or issues, investigating root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
Inventory Control and Auditing:
  • Participate in regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any variances.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory control and minimize stock losses.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, data, and explanations related to inventory management.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as purchasing, sales, warehousing, and finance, to ensure effective coordination and information flow regarding inventory-related matters.
  • Communicate inventory-related issues, concerns, and recommendations to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, logistics, or related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in inventory control, warehousing, or related roles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
  • Physical stamina to perform inventory-related tasks, such as lifting and moving items.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
